he wants it easy, he wants it relaxed

The title is from a song by the Strokes. I think it's called "The end has no end." I just started listening to this band like a month ago. For a day or two, I thought they were called the Stokes. I also like this singer from the UK, KT Tunstall. Her song, "The other side of the world," gets firmly stuck in my head at random times of the day, such as now. I can thank my cousing Adri for that.

Today's Good Friday. I went to church earlier and started thinking about how emotions are so pointless, especailly ones like pain and anger. If Jesus could stand being crucified, what are the rest of us bitching about? Sometimes situations arise in my life that I would have considered the worst case scenario. Each of those experiences has taught me that I shouldn't be afraid of the worse happening because it will happen and there are always even worse things that could happen.

I can't wait for Sunday. Easter symbolizes redemption and rebirth to me. And, I think I'll have some chocolate cake, ala mode. That sounds tight.
